GOLDEN, Colorado, USA. August 1, 2000 -- Denver author and
motivational speaker, Vilis Ozols, has earned the National Speakers
Association’s Certified Speaking Professional (CSP) designation. He will
be honored with the associations highest earned designation during
ceremony at the 2000 N.S.A.
International Convention, August 5-8, in Washington, DC.
Established in 1980, the CSP designation serves as an international
measure of professional platform skill and proven speaking experience.
To qualify, candidates must meet a combination of educational,
professional and performance standards. Currently, less than eight
percent of all members worldwide have earned this prestigious
designation.
"I aspired to the CSP designation because it confers such credibility
in the speaking profession. It proves you speak professionally for a
living!" said Ozols.
NSA requires that candidates for designation serve at least 100
different clients, give a minimum of 250 presentations and earn at least
$250,000 (US$) in speaking fees, all within a five-year period.
Vilis Ozols is a former Pro Beach Volleyball and international
volleyball tour competitor. He is the founder and president of the Ozols
Business Group which provides motivational speaking, leadership training
and management consulting nationally and internationally. He is the
author of Motivational Leaders and GRAND-Stories. He was
recently named president-elect and Member-of-the-Year for the Colorado
Speakers Association.
